Back in 2013, Anthony Carrion was a 2nd Team all-conference linebacker for the Falcons and is now set to start his second team as the defensive ends coach. In his sophomore year with Cerritos, Carrion finished third on the team with 48 tackles with 4½ tackles for loss and a pair of quarterback sacks. He accepted a scholarship to Rocky Mountain College in Montana. As a junior, he was third on their team with 46 tackles and returned a fumble 70 yards for a touchdown. Carrion also caught a pair of passes for 17 yards and a touchdown. Injuries limited him to just one game his senior year.

Carrion joined the Battlin’ Bears coaching staff as their tight ends and fullbacks coach for two seasons.

A graduate of St. John Bosco High, Carrion recorded 55 tackles as a senior and led the Trinity League in quarterback sacks. Additionally, he was a member of the baseball team.

Carrion earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Rocky Mountain College in 2017. Carrion, 26, is single and lives in Bellflower.
