Cerritos College Track & Field (2012): Competed in the 800 meters (2:23.86) and 1500 meters (4:4041)…..

Cerritos College Cross Country (2012): Came in 93rd place at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 24:11.58 and finished in 141st place with a time of 24:21 at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational… Posted a time of 29:16.9 at the Grand Canyon Invitational to finish in 93rd place and recorded a time of 24:13.70 at the Coast Classic Overflow to come in 54th place… Recorded a 54th place time of 25:08 at the Palomar Invitational and also competed in the Mark Covert Classic…..

Cerritos College Cross Country (2011): Finished 75th at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 25:31.01 and came in 90th place at the Santa Barbara Invitational in a time of 25:53… His time of 31:09 at the Vanguard Invitational earned him a 102nd place finish, while he came in 38th place at the Palomar Invitational in a time of 24:30.32… Opened the season at the UC San Diego Opener by coming in 36th place in a time of 25:55.80…..

Kennedy HS: Named to the Empire League All-Academic Athlete Team as a senior and junior… Posted a personal best time of 16:36 in cross country and was named the team’s Most Inspirational Runner as a senior… While on the track and field team he competed in the 1600 meters (5:04) and 3200 meters (10:50)… Named their Athlete of the Month as a senior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he placed 66th in the Cerritos Cow Run and posted his personal best time… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a registered nurse and has been a certified assistant nurse since he was in high school… Nicknamed “Danny”… Has three siblings – Juan (34), Brisa (32) and Nancy (29)… Is the son of Primitivo and Esperanza Sanchez… Born in Anaheim, CA on August 3, 1993…..
