Cerritos Wrestling (2011): Was a red-shirt…..

La Mirada HS: Was a two-time CIF qualifier and posted a 30-9 record at 145 pounds as a senior… Came in second place in the Suburban League and was 6-0 in league dual matches… Also led the team with 26 pins, which put him in the school’s top 10… Won the Millikan Duals as a senior, while coming in second place at the Santa Fe Tournament and third at the Arroyo Tournament and Anaheim Tournament… In his junior year, he won the Western Tournament and placed third at the Millikan Duals… Came in fourth place in the league championships as a junior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he pinned his opponent from John Glenn High in front of four uncles, who all won multiple league titles when they wrestled at John Glenn… Another uncle is former John Glenn High head coach Ralph Valle… Nicknamed “Gabe”… Born in Whittier, CA…..
