Santa Fe HS: Was a three-time Del Rio League champion and different weights, while he placed seventh at the CIF Championships his senior and sophomore seasons… Voted the team’s Senior of the Year… Named the league’s Lower Weight Most Valuable Player as a junior and took third at the CIF Championships… Won the Juan Enriquez Memorial Tournament at 138 pounds… Spent three seasons on the wrestling team…..
