Title: Head Coach

After spending the last four seasons as the Associate Head Coach for the indoor volleyball team at Riverside City College, Ashleigh Atsaros takes on the head coaching duties for the Cerritos College indoor and beach volleyball teams. In her time with the Tigers, Atsaros helped lead the program from seventh place in the Orange Empire Conference to fifth place and then third place in 2024. The indoor team went 17-10 and qualified for the Southern California Regional Playoffs in 2024, where they were defeated by San Bernardino Valley College in the first round.

A product of community college, Atsaros played volleyball at Golden West College (2016-17) and was a 2nd Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection in both indoor and beach volleyball. She led the team in kills (219), while hitting an amazing .408, while her 67 blocks were second on the team. She recorded 12 kills (with no errors) in a sweep over the Falcons in 2017.

Atsaros then transferred to Cal State Fullerton and played two seasons of indoor volleyball, while her two beach seasons were played at Ottawa University Arizona, where she won an NCAA National Championship.

Her coaching career also includes three seasons coaching at Long Beach Millikan High and has over 10 years of club coaching experience.

A product of Huntington Beach High, Atsaros was a two-time Sunset League champion, 1st Team all-league selection and named Most Improved Player in the Sunset League.

Atsaros, 27, earned her Masters of Business Administration from Westcliff University in 2021 and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology from Cal Baptist University in 2022. She resides in Huntington Beach.
