Whittier HS: Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams… Earned the Coaches Award as a junior and posted a personal best time of 16:09 over a three-mile course… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 400 meters (52.0), 800 meters (2:02) and 1600 meters (4:38)… Received the Coaches Award as a junior, the Most Improved Athletes his sophomore season and Rookie of the Year as a freshman while on the track team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was posting his best cross country time at the league championships and his best track times at Azusa Pacific University… Would like to transfer to Washington State University and aspires to be a video game designer… His father was on the cross country and track teams at Cerritos College and Pioneer High… Hobbies include playing video games… Nicknamed “Ranman”… Has one sister – Samantha (15)… Is the son of Freddie and Martha Salas… Born in Bellflower, CA on June 4, 1996…..
