After leading the Cerritos College volleyball team in kills and service aces, while coming in second in digs, freshman Jody Suski (Cerritos HS) was named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division. The other Falcon to earn all-conference recognition was sophomore Daisy Segura (Cerritos HS), who was named to the 2nd Team.
Suski recorded the most kills (212) and service aces (29) for Cerritos on the year, while her 269 digs were both second on the team and second in the South Division. She also accounted for 70 assists, which was second most on the team. Suski posted a season-high 19 kills and 22 digs in a five-set loss to Riverside City College, while she had a four-match stretch where she recorded double-digit kills. In the team's loss to Los Angeles Harbor College, Suski had 21 digs and a season-high four service aces.
As for Segura, she led the division with 287 digs, while also leading the team with 170 assists and was second on the Falcons with 151 kills. She finished with a season-high 16 kills against Rio Hondo College and recorded 13 kills against both West Valley College and Los Angeles Harbor College on the year. Segura, the team's lone sophomore, dished out a season-high 36 assists in the season-opener against Santa Ana College and had 21 assists in the match against LA Harbor. Also in that same match against the Seahawks, Segura posted a season-high 27 digs and also had 25 digs against Riverside City College.
