Artesia HS: Competed in the discus (123’ 10”), shot put (38’ 5”) and ran the 100 meter HH (16.0) and the 200 meters (26.6)... Voted her team's Most Valuable Player as a senior and junior after winning the league championship... Also voted the ABC District Girl's Varsity Athlete of the Meet once as a senior and junior... Spent her sophomore and freshman years at Long Beach Poly High, where she was named their Most Valuable Sophomore Athlete... Placed third at the Moore League Championships in the discus... Earned the Coaches Award as a freshman.....
