Cerritos College Cross Country (2014): Earned a 60th place finish at the CCCAA State Championships with a time of 19:46.0, while she placed 53rd at the Southern California Championships with a time of 20:05.1… Her time of 20:04.6 earned her a 20th place result at the South Coast Conference Championships, while she was 24th in the Brubaker Invitational in a time of 20:41.2… Finished in 24th place at the Grand Canyon Invitational in 22:05.2…..

Azusa Pacific University Cross Country (2013): Competed in the Titan Invitational and came in 76th place with a time of 20:31.60, while her time of 24:22.00 at the 6K Bronco Invitational put her in 199th place… Also ran in the UC Riverside Invitational and her 5K time of 20:45.03 placed her 110th and recorded a 4K time of 15:59.20 at the Cal Baptist Invitational to come in 33rd place overall…..

Downey HS: Specialized in the 800 meters (2:19) and qualified for the CIF Prelims on the track team as a senior… Spent three years on the cross country team, four seasons on the track and field team and was on the volleyball team for one year… Helped the cross country and track teams win the San Gabriel Valley League championship her senior season… Named the team’s co-captain and was a Scholar-Athlete…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were being a part of an NAIA National Championship team and posting her best time in the 800 meters at the CIF Prelims… Would like to transfer to either San Diego State University or Oregon State University and study to be a physician’s assistant… Hobbies include listening to music and dancing… Nicknamed “JoJo” and “Jo”… Has two sisters – Jailene (16) and Jazmin (12)… Is the daughter of Juan Orozco and Giovana Cano… Born in Downey, CA on August 30, 1995…..
