The Cerritos College men's and women's track & field teams turned in an impressive set of performances at the Wolf Pack Classic, held February 6–7 at the University of Nevada. The weekend was highlighted by a record-breaking throw and multiple standout efforts across running and field events.
On the women's side, Aysia Mallory Feliciano led the way with a historic mark in the weight throw, setting a new school record at 16.37 meters. Teammates Mackenzie Monson (15.76m) and Miracle Siaosi (15.16m) added depth with strong performances, while Monson also led the shot put at 13.19m.
In the jumps, Sanaa Trotter cleared 1.53m in the high jump, and Taylor Kline competed in multiple events, recording marks in the long jump (4.40m) and 60m hurdles (10.13).
On the track, Deona Standifer paced the 400m (1:00.35) and returned to anchor the 4x400m relay team alongside Taaliah Stephenson, Jayla Barnwell, and Nyla Nolan, who combined for a strong 4:02.76 finish. The Falcons showed depth in the 800m, with Barnwell (2:31.54), Nolan (2:32.55), and Monserrat Malo (2:33.18) finishing closely together. Stephenson also stood out in the sprints, running 26.22 in the 200m and 8.12 in the 60m.
For the men, the Falcons delivered a well-rounded performance across events. Ethan Rosborough led the long jump with a mark of 6.79m and added a strong 7.00 in the 60m sprint. Logan Smith contributed in multiple areas, placing in the long jump (6.49m), clearing 1.80m in the high jump, and running 9.00 in the 60m hurdles.
In the throws, Damian Salas (15.04m), Dang Tran (14.67m), and Francisco Arechiga (13.96m) performed well in the weight throw, while Tran returned on Saturday to lead the shot put at 14.43m.
The distance squad also made its mark. Axel Robelledo-Ynostros ran a standout 1:56.74 in the 800m, while Juan Flores (8:53.38) and Joshua Morales (8:58.14) both broke the nine-minute barrier in the 3000m. The quartet of Flores, Robelledo-Ynostros, Johan Perez, and Morales teamed up for a 10:31.81 finish in the distance medley relay.
Additional highlights included Jesus Diaz clearing 4.15m in the pole vault and Alexander Bowens clocking 1:36.38 in the 600m.
