One of the key players off the bench for the Cerritos College men's basketball players this season, sophomore forward Jordun Willard (Paramount HS), is the first play to make their four-year commitment. After a season where he appeared in 31 games and made six starts, Willard has committed to NAIA school Southwestern Christian (OK) University, a private school located in Bethany.

Willard averaged 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds a game, while he connected on 54.1% (53-of-98) field goals on the season. He scored a season-high 11 points against Long Beach City College and recorded 10 points against Rio Hondo College. Playing an averaged of 11 minutes a game, Willard made the most of his time on the court, as he pulled down a season-high nine rebounds against College of the Canyons and had at least five board in eight other games.

He'll be joining an Eagles team that went 6-21 last season and are looking to fill four positions lost due to graduation.

The Falcons have six other sophomores who will be making their decisions in the next few months.
